A portal opens up inside the castle that houses the emperor. It seems that no one cares though. Strange, considering that the portal was of light.

I stepped onto the marble surface of the castle. Everyone seemed to be relaxed, and not surprised to see us.

"Huh, that's weird. There's usually panic when people appear out of thin air. odd."

I looked around. There were a few people moving about, probably servants given a chore to do.

I asked one of them where the emperor was, and he pointed towards the big doors to my left.

"As soon as Kazi shows up, we'll be going in there."

Coal stepped through the portal and looked around. This place seemed to be put in the past of most worlds, everything was simply an old era. She rand a hand through the top of her hair, in a failed atempt to remove it from her face.

"So this is your brother's place?" She asked curiously. Looking around it was a bit odd, did this mean this was where he was from? How else would the man behind the doors be Darrien's brother? It was a curious case in deed. She figured it best to not ask to many questions, but to just find out what would happen.

I walked through the other side of the portal. Looking around I was stunned at how Medival this place looked.

"Sup guys? Nice place ya got here Darrien!"

I grinned and walked to where they had moved.

"My brother chose the strangest place to live. Here, there is no technology, no electricity, no guns. Here, the way of the sword is still prevalent. Best keep your guards up, I have a feeling he's expecting someone, probably us. Otherwise the people would be a little weirded out by the portal thing."

I walked toward the double doors, and with a little shove, they opened to reveal the throne room. It was beautiful. Everything was red and black. The colors of blood and death, who would've guessed? Glass windows, comfortable furniture, and paintings. He knew how to decorate, I had to say.

Adrius was seated on the throne, and he was talking to one of his servants when he heard my voice.

"ADRIUS! Your brother returns safely from the depths of Hell!"

I stepped forward with a smile on my face, and it seemed he wasn't happy to see me. I could tell because he jumped from the throne and started to run towards me, a blade suddenly appeared in his hand.

"This isn't going well..."

Grey appeared in my hands. I had learned how to make it appear in it's 2-piece form. The battle was short and swift. I had him on his knees in a minute.

"I will only let you live if you give me the key, Adrius. That is all I came here for."

He handed it to me, and I felt happiness return to me. Another flood of emotions. Fantastic.

I kicked him away, and I stood back with Kazi and Coal.

"Coal, Kazi, This is my brother, Adrius. Adrius, these are my friends, Kazi and Coal. Sorry to cut our little meeting short, but I have a door to unlock."

I walked out the double doors, and waited for Kazi and Coal to follow. They could talk to Adrius for all I cared. All he ever did was kill and fight. His words meant nothing to me.

I looked back and forth between the two confused. Adrius had not said a word. Just out of nowhere attacked. Not that I could care. He was kind of weak. I followed Darrien wondering if he had gotten his heart back, and wondering where he was going.

Once Kazi had arived Darrien took it upon himself to meet his brother. "Will this take long?" She said and before she knew it Darrien's brother, Adrius, was on the floor. After he had charged at Darrien the two took to a short fight, which ended in Darrien's favor of course. He asked Adrius for something that she didn't quite catch, but it apeared to be a key. This getting his heart back business was a bit confusing.

"Coal, Kazi, This is my brother, Adrius. Adrius, these are my friends, Kazi and Coal. Sorry to cut our little meeting short, but I have a door to unlock."

To say the least, that had to be the worst introduction ever. Coal looked down at Adrius who hadn't managed to regain his composure from the duel. "Sup" she said and nodded her head before noticing that Darrien had already made his way out of the throne room. "Some family..." She laughed to her self and turned to head after Kazi, who followed after Darrien also, and Darrien.

"Wait up!" She called after exiting the black and red room.

Coal and Kazi had caught up, and I felt happy. Happiness, The best feeling in the world to me, had returned. I still could not feel humor. There was at least one piece left.

"I only recently met Adrius. He and I have some weird bond thing, it stops us from dying if we're near each other. Because of this, when we fight together, we have a sense of indestructibility, which brings our morale up. We are near gods in battle. Too bad we hate each other, right? This also means that fighting to kill each other is a lost cause, because it's impossible. Family relations have never ended well."

I opened a portal back to Radiant Garden.

"This key can be used on any door, and it will unlock it, though the key disappears and reappears somewhere else in the universe. Of course Adrius would never use it, he could just kick the doors down he encounters. BUT, there's a door in my old house that even I, with my "professional" lock picking skills, could not open. This is the key I needed. I was aware of the Heartless before I was taken, and had used an old ritual to remove a part of my heart and place it in an extra dimensional space. Basically, I insured that If I became a heartless that I would have a way to return to a human form. I locked the door with this key to make sure no one else would be able to get at it. I have the key now, and this should be the last piece of my heart. If it isn't, then I'm probably going to transform into the evil creature that I had mentioned before. If that happens, be prepared to kill me. God can only hope this goes well...."

I stepped through, ready to face my destiny.

"I'm not sure that sounds fun at all, but I suppose I will follow."

I stepped through, not sure what to expect.
