Coal's Journal

The cover of Coal's journal is a simple leather cover that wraps around once and ties with a strap. On the ouside a letter M is stamped onto it creative a groove in the leather. After unraveling the leather cover from the pages, slightly yellowed paper is visible. No lines, and the edges are worn. A good bit of the begining of the journl seems to be torn out. Some things are much better left forgotten I assume.

Written with shaky handwritting as if the person writting had forgotten how to write.

Journal,

I don't know why i feel the need to write in this. There isn't much good in writting down your thoughts when if anyone was to pick this up they would know how you feel about everything.

But i guess for now it doesn't matter.

I don't know what was in this journal before hand except for the one page (that had been ripped out).

the page is tapped to this journal entry in an envelope. on the paper is a letter from what she thought was a either a family member or a close friend

This is just a little something i thought you would enjoy while you take your travels this summer. Remember to be safe and stick with the group. Hope you jot down many memories! And remember to write home as well!!!

That is all i have from before the wripped pages. Doesn't clear anything up in this empty mind of mine. Not to mention Madiline doesn't fit. Ill let you know when i think of a new name.
